Just a few steps from the Llangollen High Street you'll find peace and quiet by the riverside, where the rocks and shallow water of the River Dee allow for a paddle in the summer.

It's a short walk along to the Horseshoe Falls, where you can relax, unwind, and take a dip.

You can take in some culture at Llangollen Museum, with its talks and events. Valle Crucis Abbey, a Cistercian abbey founded in 1201AD, is nearby. There's a particularly beautiful walk up to Castell Dinas Bran - the castle was built c. 1260AD, and has gorgeous views over Llangollen.
