Welcome to Llangollen Hostel
Latest Covid-19 Update
Sorry folks the hostel is closed due to the lockdown. The latest news from the Welsh Government is as follows:
Easter: tourism: There will be a review on April 3, just one day before Easter. If cases are still going in the right direction, there could be a limited reopening of some parts of the tourism industry. The partial re-opening of tourism would include B&Bs and hotels with room service as long as they are self-contained.
We have already put changes in place to make our accommodation self-contained and therefore fall into the above category. This does mean, regrettably, that all communal areas are not available. However, tea and coffee facilities are provided in every room and the many take-aways and shops close-by are already open.
With this in mind we are taking bookings from Monday, 5th April. Our flexible cancellation policy means that you can change your booking to a later date, or cancel altogether if you give us enough notice. Please use the booking tool below (to the left on a mobile) for the best price and flexibility.

Welcome to Llangollen Hostel. We offer clean and comfortable accommodation, modern facilities, and a warm welcome, whatever your budget.
We are located in the centre of Llangollen, a stone's throw away from the river Dee, the Llangollen Canal with its horse drawn boat rides, the Llangollen steam railway and Castell Dinas Bran. The town has an abundance of independent shops, cafe's, bistros, pubs and restaurants. It is home to the annual International Eisteddfod, which is a festival of music, dance, and arts. We are approximately an hours drive to Snowdonia, and half an hour to Chester.
