We are delighted to announce that the hostel will reopen on the 13th of July.
Our flexible cancellation policy means that you can book with confidence. Please book directly through our website for the best price and flexibility.
We are prepared for your arrival and our focus is on the safety of our guests and staff.
Self-contained rooms only
All the rooms available to book will have their own bathroom facilities so there will be no need to share with other guests.
The shared dorm room is closed for the time being.
When booking the hostel exclusively, you will have access to all the rooms and the communal areas.
Check-in and Check-out
In the interest of staff safety all guests will be asked to check themselves in and out and will be given instructions on how to do so using our keycode system.
A member of staff will be on hand by phone or text at all times.
Online card payments or bank transfers will be available.
Unless booking the whole hostel exclusively, we are not currently permitted to open the kitchen, dining room or lounge. We will provide tea/coffee making facilities in all of the bedrooms.
Food and drink
Guests will be permitted to take food and drinks to their rooms and we will provide tea and coffee making facilities in the bedrooms. There are loads of shops and takeaway options available all within a few minutes walk. Unfortunately our much loved complimentary brekky will be unavailable for the time being.
Cleaning and sanitizing
Hand sanitizer will be provided in strategic locations such as hallways and next to the main entrance.
Each bedroom will have its own antibacterial soap and a disinfectant spray.
Staff have been trained and will be following an enhanced cleaning and sanitizing programme following industry specific government advice. They will be wearing appropriate PPE equipment.
Rooms will be well ventilated between visits.
Laundry will be washed at high temperatures and stored for at least 24 hours. The beds will be made with fresh linen from storage.
We would kindly ask all our guests to follow the latest Welsh government guidelines regarding social distancing when inside the hostel. Currently there is a 2 metre rule in place.
Covid 19 symptoms
We would strictly ask any guests showing sign or symptoms of Covid 19 to refrain from staying with us and to leave if developing symptoms during their stay. The same policy will apply to all our staff.
